Hi Rob

Thanks for your time to discuss history and future projects particularly with me as I set out on my Wolverhampton journey. I saw how you supported all the I/C supporters as well as the more well known historians. It is a fabulous festival because it has such a great variety of subjects and speakers. Thank you for being both a great historian and human being. It was also good to hear that your recent health problems are very much behind you.

I hope to see you soon

Derek

This article is spot on Rob. Such a great festival. Friendly, informative, fun and so many other positive descriptors. It is such a pleasure to meet historians and authors and have a relaxed chat with them along with meeting friends old and new. The talks and guest speakers were wonderful, making this festival unmissable, along with Chalke Valley HF. Always a pleasure to see you as well. Best wishes Nick Grubb

I'm only an occasional listener of the podcast, but that looked like a fantastic weekend experience. I wish I'd had the opportunity to attend.

Fabulous event and article. My 2nd visit, only a day ticket last year just whetted my appetite for a longer visit this time around, and it was well worth it. A genuine pleasure to meet you at the book signing, and a privilege to listen to all the expertise. Looking forward to listening back to the recorded sessions when they become available. Richard Aldred recounting his experiences in Cromwell's and Comet will stay with me for ever, the standing ovation was so heartfelt. Nigel

I was only there on the Friday and will be back all weekend next year. Felt like coming home.
